We're a small team on a mission to help innovative companies grow their businesses – and along the way, we're championing a more human way to work.

Buffer was started in 2010 as a simple way to schedule posts on Twitter. Today it's a growing suite of tools serving more than 75,000 customers worldwide. Our platform helps businesses and creators streamline their social media presence, engage with their audience, and analyze their impact across multiple channels.

Buffer is a fully remote team, spread across the whole planet. We have teammates in 15 countries, 11 timezones, and 42 cities (and counting!). Hiring process

For most roles our hiring process is:

1. Introductory call: To talk about values and Buffer culture, ensuring mutual alignment.
2. Call with line manager: To learn more about your background & experience and discuss the role in detail.
3. Take home exercise: Showcase your technical skills in a real-world scenario!
4. Call with 2 Engineers: A joint interview to get to know you. No coding, no whiteboard – just genuine conversation.
