What is Bioregional?
Bioregional is one of the UK's original sustainability consultancies, founded in 1994. Working to make sustainable living the easy choice for everyone — joining forces with ambitious partners to achieve their One Planet Living® vision. They provide expert guidance across corporate sustainability, built-environment consultancy, and the One Planet Living® framework.
Clients include Kingfisher, M&S, Nandos, and various local authorities. Flat hierarchy so junior staff have ideas listened to and supported.

What is the Bioregional team like?
~29-62 employees across sustainability consultants, built-environment specialists, researchers and operations. Mission-driven culture — "People-shaped support for planet-sized goals." All 29 (at time of pilot) participated in the 9DF trial.
Work-Life Balance
Bioregional operates a 9-day fortnight with no loss of pay, part of the 2024 4-Day Week Foundation pilot. The trial was extended for another six months after positive initial results — CEO Sue Riddlestone said the organisation was "delighted and pleasantly surprised" with how it went.
