AUMOVIO SE is an automotive-technology company registered in Frankfurt am Main (Amtsgericht Frankfurt am Main, HRB 138483). Its facts page says: "We provide components and solutions that make future mobility safe, exciting, connected, and autonomous. In 2025, we generated adjusted sales of €18.5 billion and operates globally with around 82,000 employees." Its listing page records that "September 18, 2025 marked the official start of trading for AUMOVIO on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange" and that "After the spin-off, we continue the business of the former Continental Automotive group sector." It describes "Four strong business areas for future mobility": autonomous and commercial mobility, architecture and network solutions, safety and motion, and user experience. Its products span electronics, software, sensors, displays and brake systems, but the roles staged here are mostly ASIC and system-in-package engineering, IT, legal, planning and student internships, with a long tail of production and maintenance roles that this profile leaves out.

The flexible-hours wording sits in 38 of them: Villingen-Schwenningen, Germany (15), Timișoara, Romania (11), Regensburg, Germany (7), Sibiu, Romania (3) and Porto, Portugal (2). In Romania the company also runs an AI lab: "Our first AI Living Lab, established in 2023 in Romania, represents a pioneering initiative within our global network." Working in place varies by role. The Regensburg adverts offer "the possibility of hybrid and cross-border mobile work", while three Romanian roles are on-site only: the Sibiu Production Planning Specialist ("This is a full-time, on-site position", "Remote work is not available for this role"), the Timișoara Intellectual Property Counsel ("Remote arrangements are not available for this role") and the Risk Management & Internal Controls Specialist ("requires on-site presence"). The Villingen-Schwenningen Quality Engineering & Claim Management internships say "Die Tätigkeit erfolgt zu 85% on-site am Standort Villingen-Schwenningen" (English: the work takes place 85% on-site at the Villingen-Schwenningen site). Office days per week are not stated.
What is the AUMOVIO team like?
The adverts that state flexible hours are for specialists: ASIC test, design and layout engineers and System-in-Package specialists in Regensburg; an ASIC validation engineer, platform, SAP and HR-IT engineers, patent and intellectual-property counsel, a purchaser and a risk-management specialist in Timișoara; planning, industrialization and risk-management roles in Sibiu; a compliance officer and a risk-management specialist in Porto; plus 16 student internships. English is expected, for example "Good English language skills, written and spoken" in the ASIC Validation and Test Engineer advert. The Life at AUMOVIO page says "Above all, we see ourselves as a Talent Factory", and the careers site describes a hiring process that "usually takes 1–3 months" with an interview that is typically conducted virtually.
Work-Life Balance
The AUMOVIO career pages do not state flexible hours company-wide, so this rests on the adverts, and each site words it differently. The Timișoara adverts list a "Flexibility Program including flexible hours, mobile work and sabbaticals" (nine adverts across IT, engineering, legal, purchasing and strategy). The Sibiu adverts list "Flexible working hours" together with "Days off on account of the time balance". The Porto adverts say "Benefit from flexible working hours". The Regensburg engineering adverts offer a "flexible work time model, part-time option, sabbatical, etc", and the Villingen-Schwenningen internship adverts list "Flexible Arbeitszeiten" (English: flexible working hours; one advert is in English). No core hours and no weekly hours are stated in any of them, and the two Timișoara internship adverts let students pick a part-time or full-time schedule of 4, 6, or 8 hours per day.
