Atom bank plc is the UK's app-only challenger bank, authorised by the Prudential Regulation Authority and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority and PRA (FS Register #661960; Company No. 08632552). From its newly renovated, low-carbon office at The Pattern Shop on Sussex Street in Newcastle upon Tyne, Atom serves customers entirely through its mobile app — savings, mortgages, business loans and intermediary services — and is on a mission to make banking "easier, faster and better value."
What We Do
Atom's app-first model has reimagined how customers experience a bank: there are no branches, and every interaction — from onboarding to ongoing support — happens digitally with human help available in-app from 8am to 8pm every day. The bank's Decision Systems team prioritises swift, friction-free customer onboarding, while teams across Commercial (Intermediaries) and Technology build the products and platform that power the experience.
