What is Assist World?
Assist World is a virtual-assistant placement agency that recruits and trains experienced operations professionals from the Philippines and South Africa, then places them into part-time engagements with US, UK and international clients. The placement includes ongoing training and quality oversight; the contractor is engaged by Assist World and works directly with the client business.
Roles span Executive Assistant, Virtual Assistant, Operations Coordinator, Financial / Bookkeeping VA, Lead Generation Specialist, Marketing Automation Manager and similar knowledge-work positions. All are explicitly part-time and remote.
Where will I work?
Fully remote. Most roles are filled from the Philippines or South Africa (per the Lever board location tags). Working hours are typically aligned to US Pacific or Eastern timezone for client overlap.
What is the Assist World team like?
A distributed VA team with strong support infrastructure — recruiting, onboarding, quality, and client matching are handled centrally so contractors can focus on the placement work. Many VAs work with the same client over multi-year engagements.
Work-Life Balance
All 20 active roles are part-time at ~20 hours/week to start, with potential to grow to full-time based on client demand. Schedules are typically aligned to US business hours, but specific times are agreed per client engagement.
