About Aledade
What is Aledade?
Aledade is a public benefit corporation that exists, in its own words, "to empower the most transformational part of our health care landscape - independent primary care." It was founded in 2014 and has since become "the largest network of independent primary care in the country," helping practices, health centers and clinics deliver better care to their patients. Aledade supplies the data analytics, software, guided workflows and payer contracts that let independent practices succeed under value-based care instead of fee-for-service — work it frames as "good for patients, good for practices and good for society."
Where will I work?
Remotely, for the most part. Aledade lists a "Remote-first working environment and flexible work schedules" as the first item in its own benefits summary, and the large majority of live postings on its job board are US-remote. It also offers offices "you can visit/work from as desired" — Bethesda, MD (headquarters), Durham, NC and Austin, TX — rather than sites you are required to attend. Field-facing roles such as account management and practice transformation are the exception: those postings state their local travel expectations up front.
What is the Aledade team like?
Teams span technology, product, analytics, business operations, policy, provider networks and practice transformation. Postings describe "a collaborative, inclusive and remote-first culture" built by people "united by a shared passion for public health." Aledade names its core values as service, evidence, curiosity, accountability, and inclusion and belonging, and runs employee resource groups it describes as "communities of Aledaders, led by Aledaders" that drive education, networking and internal impACT projects.
Work-Life Balance
Aledade publishes exact numbers rather than vague promises. Every standard job description carries a "Robust time-off plan (21 days of PTO in your first year)"; the careers page states the same allowance as "168 PTO hours (21 days!) in your first year." On top of that sit "Two paid volunteer days and 11 paid holidays." New parents receive "12 weeks paid parental leave for all new parents," and long service earns a "Fully paid six-week sabbatical following each six-year period of continuous employment." Time off is accrued and finite: Aledade publishes a day count rather than describing its allowance as unlimited.
