What is Ajax Systems?
Ajax Systems describes itself as "an international tech company and the largest manufacturer of security systems in Europe". Its company history page says it was founded in 2011 by Aleksandr Konotopskyi and that production was set up in Kyiv, Ukraine, and its adverts call it "a Ukrainian success story". The range covers intrusion protection, video surveillance, fire and life safety, and comfort and automation, and the adverts say the company has "over 4.5 million end users and 330K PRO users in more than 180 countries worldwide". Adverts read on 6 November 2026 say "The company employs 5,000 specialists", although other adverts quote different totals and the history page gives 2,620 employees at the end of 2022. The same page records new R&D offices in Vinnytsia and Lviv in 2021 and a first factory abroad, in Turkey, in 2022.
Where will I work?
The job board held 186 adverts on 6 November 2026: Kyiv (74), Lviv (15), Istanbul (12), Zakarpattia (10), Dubai (5) and a long tail of sales, pre-sales and procurement roles in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia, Oceania and North America. The 16 adverts that state flexible hours are in Kyiv (14), Lviv (1) and Jakarta (1) and cover SAP and ERP consulting, QA and software testing, recruitment, supply-chain planning, pre-sales, HR administration and procurement. The Ukrainian adverts offer "Роботу в одному з наших комфортабельних офісів" (work in one of our comfortable offices) and say the office has a generator and a shelter, while the English ones say "(office-based)" and "in the office". This is flexible hours within an office-based job, not remote work, although 42 of the 186 adverts are tagged remote on the board (sales, business-development, pre-sales and technical roles located outside Ukraine, none of them among the 16).
What is the Ajax Systems team like?
The about page lists values such as "Build a star team, not a team of stars" and says "we value open communication, practical solutions, and result-oriented vision". Adverts promise "Freedom to make decisions and bring your ideas to life" and describe "a strong global team where we care about each other and share the best practices". The board has two tiers: engineering, product, sales, finance and corporate roles on one side, and factory, assembly and warehouse roles in Istanbul and factory-site engineering, quality and planning roles in Zakarpattia on the other, so the flexible-hours line should be read for the corporate and R&D roles that carry it, not for shop-floor work.
Work-Life Balance
Flexible working hours are stated in 16 of the 186 adverts, across several functions. A recruiter advert in Lviv says "Flexible working hours (office-based)" and a pre-sales advert in Jakarta says "Flexible working hours in the office". Ukrainian-language adverts for SAP, ERP, pre-sales and procurement roles say "Гнучкий графік без привʼязки до робочих годин" (a flexible schedule not tied to working hours), and adverts for planning and HR roles say "Гнучкий графік з відвідуванням наших комфортабельних офісів" (a flexible schedule with attendance at our offices). No core-hours window, required overlap or number of office days is stated, and the wording does not appear on a company benefits page: the About page's Join the team link goes straight to the job board, and the header Career link opens it filtered to Full-time, Remote.
