Affinidi is a decentralised-identity and trust-infrastructure company. Its adverts open with "Affinidi is a technology company dedicated to changing data ownership for good", and the about page says "Founded by Temasek in 2020, Affinidi was born from a powerful conviction: that trust between individuals, businesses, and systems requires infrastructure built on consent, privacy, and verifiability." The platform covers verifiable credentials, a user-controlled credential vault, privacy-first messaging and, in the product-manager advert, "the Trust Fabric product suite to give AI agents verifiable identity, policy guardrails, and real-time observability". The about page lists ISO 27001 certification, GDPR and Singapore PDPA compliance, and work on open standards such as W3C and DIF. The careers page calls the company "Temasek-backed with multi-year runway".
Where will I work?
The careers page lists the locations as "Singapore, Berlin, Bangalore, or fully remote", and its FAQ says "We hire fully remote candidates and have team members across many countries" while "Some roles have a preferred location due to client or team overlap, which will be stated in the job description". The about page gives mailing addresses in Singapore, Berlin and Bangalore. On 6 November 2026 the Greenhouse board listed 6 adverts: a Senior Engineering Manager in Berlin, one Senior Product Manager, Technical advert posted to Berlin, London and Dublin, a Lead Solutions Architect for Southeast Asia and Greater China based in Singapore (where "Mandarin language skills are required"), and a standing talent-community page that names Bengaluru, Berlin, Dublin, London and Singapore. No Bengaluru vacancy is open today. The product-manager advert says "Hybrid working model in Berlin" even for the London and Dublin postings, so confirm the arrangement for your city.
What is the Affinidi team like?
The careers page says "Join 100+ people across 25+ nationalities building the Internet of Trust" and shows a 3+ year average tenure. It describes "small, cross-functional squads with real decision-making authority", with "less process than at a large company". The five tenets on the careers page, repeated in the engineering-manager and solutions-architect adverts, include "We are unapologetically customer-focused" and "We have the courage to be misunderstood". The hiring process has four stages: a first conversation, a deeper discussion, a collaborative session (pair programming for engineers, "not whiteboard tests") and a meeting with future teammates, and the page adds "We read every application personally. No AI screening, no keyword filters." The open roles are senior: an engineering manager leading several teams, a technical product manager and a customer-facing solutions architect.
Work-Life Balance
The careers page lists the working pattern as "Async-first, flexible hours, measured by outcomes." Five of the six adverts repeat the flexible-hours half: "Flexible working hours" (engineering manager), "Hybrid working model in Berlin + flexible hours" (the product-manager advert, posted three times) and "We provide flexible working hours, giving you autonomy to manage your time." (solutions architect). No core hours are stated. The adverts also say "Unlimited vacation policy", while the careers FAQ describes "a flexible leave policy designed to feel unlimited" with a per-country minimum of 20 days for Singapore and India and 25 days for Europe. People with three years of service get at least one week working from another Affinidi location.
