micro1 is engaging Video Annotation Experts to contribute to a customer’s project focused on refining AI learning capabilities through advanced video annotation. In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters.

Scope of Work

  1. Identify and segment recurring events within short video clips according to project guidelines.
  2. Annotate each detected event precisely, providing accurate start and end timestamps.
  3. Craft concise, clear, and consistent written descriptions for every annotated event.
  4. Ensure all annotation submissions meet strict quality and consistency standards.
  5. Collaborate via written and verbal communication channels to clarify requirements and resolve ambiguities.
  6. Review and refine your own annotations to align with evolving project instructions.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Native-level proficiency in English, both written and verbal, for effective annotation and communication.
  2. Demonstrated experience in video annotation, video editing, videography, or closely related areas.
  3. Strong attention to detail, with a commitment to delivering high-accuracy data labeling.
  4. Ability to follow complex annotation guidelines and quickly adapt to feedback.
  5. Background in AI training projects or experience with data annotation for machine learning is a plus.
