We are looking for a Software Development Specialist (Tech Lead) with extensive and proven experience to lead and inspire software development teams. The professional will be responsible for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in the creation, definition, design, and planning of innovative solutions. The candidate is expected to have the ability to work independently and proactively, demonstrating creativity and high competence in problem-solving with minimal supervision. Additionally, they must possess excellent organizational and communication skills.
Daily Responsibilities
You will work in a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with technical and business leadership, actively participating in discussions, proposals, and planning. You will be responsible for supporting decision-making and conflict resolution;
You will act as a point of reference for technical questions and resolve critical impasses, providing expert guidance;
You will participate in the entire software development lifecycle, from conception to deployment and operation, technically leading teams and ensuring efficient and agile deliveries;
You will be responsible for ensuring the sharing and application of techniques and best practices through presentations, learning sessions (dojos), pair programming, documentation, among other methods.
Key Deliverables:
Analysis and design of application architecture;
Understanding the company's technical and strategic direction to develop and document application standards aligned with corporate architecture;
Identifying opportunities for creating reusable components and APIs across the company, ensuring their reuse by different development teams;
Ensuring secure, scalable, reliable, and resilient implementations;
Monitoring KPIs related to solution architecture management and reuse;
Conducting Proofs of Concept (POCs) with new technologies or in different use cases;
Applying data governance standards established by the company;
Promoting code reviews and learning sessions (dojos) with the team, encouraging collaboration and continuous learning;
Documentation, optimization, and maintenance of specifications, components, source code, modules, and features of the developed functionalities.
What are we looking for in you?
Experience in technical leadership;
Excellent communication skills;
Ability to work in a team, as well as planning, organization, and negotiation skills;
Mastery of Java 17+ programming language, using Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring Batch) and microservices architecture with REST API and GraphQL;
Experience with unit testing (JUnit, Mockito, etc.);
Experience with relational and non-relational databases;
Experience with containerized (Docker) and orchestrated (Kubernetes) microservices;
Experience with application instrumentation and observability (Dynatrace, Datadog, Grafana, etc.);
Knowledge of major software architecture models and patterns, such as DDD, BDD, Microfrontends, Design Patterns, SOLID, Service Mesh, and Enterprise Integration Patterns;
Practical experience with cloud application solutions, especially AWS (EKS, EC2, S3, EMR, SQS, etc.);
Knowledge of messaging and event tools, such as RabbitMQ and Kafka;
Experience in CI/CD pipelines, particularly using Jenkins.
It will be a plus:
Experience with Angular 15+;
Experience with Spark (Python or Scala);
Knowledge of Analytics tools, such as Adobe Analytics;
Familiarity with big data solutions, including Data Lake, Data Warehouse, ETL, BI, Data Mesh, MLOps, among others.
