Why AFAS? Why would you want that?
Well, for example because you'd be working at the best and most fun software company in the Netherlands. Together with over 650 colleagues, we work every day for the success of our 14,000+ customers. With our software, almost all bread in the Netherlands is baked and a third of the Dutch receive their payslip. From accounting firms to hospitals, everyone uses AFAS! And all of that with exactly the same software package, without customization.
At AFAS, we work with more than 150 enthusiastic developers on software. Every developer at AFAS has their own focus area, from statutory products like tax and payroll, to focus on UX and UI.
Okay, interesting! But what will I actually do?
Product development at AFAS follows 4 steps: determining the new cool functionality we're going to build by the product managers, realizing these software solutions by developers, ensuring that all this great work actually works well by the Test & Quality department, and finally enriching the functionalities with content (AFAS Help, dashboards, course materials, etc.) by the Knowledge & Content department.
Your project also contributes to the success of these departments by researching and realizing a cool new product or optimizing an internal process. Plenty of opportunities for a graduation internship! We already have a number of assignments ready:
