Job Description
The Senior Backend Developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining backend solutions using Java, ensuring high quality and performance of applications. This role requires solid technical experience and the ability to work collaboratively with the development team.
Main day-to-day activities:
- Develop and maintain backend services using Java.
- Contribute to the design and maintenance of software architecture.
- Implement development best practices and industry standards.
- Ensure code quality through reviews and automated testing.
- Collaborate with other areas to align technological solutions with business objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Develop new features and maintain existing solutions.
- Reverse engineer legacy systems for building new systems.
- Monitor and optimize application performance.
- Actively participate in strategic decisions related to software development.
- Ensure adequate technical documentation of developed solutions.
- Mentor junior and intermediate developers, promoting a continuous learning environment.
Qualifications
- Solid experience in backend development with Java.
- Experience in REST API | GraphQL development.
- Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases.
- Experience with code versioning tools (GIT) and CI/CD.
- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with Cloud services, especially AWS.
- Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban).
Differentials:
- Experience with application monitoring tools such as DataDog | Dynatrace and Splunk | Grafana.
- Technical certifications in relevant areas (AWS, Kubernetes, etc.).
- Experience in technology innovation and digital transformation projects.
