THE OPPORTUNITY:

CONTEXT:

The IT DevOps team at Ivalua designs, operates and evolves the software engineering capabilities that power the development and innovation of our SaaS procurement management platform. We develop and scale the critical CI/CD platforms that allow hundreds of engineers (200+) to deliver our products continuously and deploy thousands of customer environments around the world.

We automate infrastructure operations, promote SDLC best practices and contribute to the next generation of Ivalua's Cloud architecture (Kubernetes). Our global Software Factory enables engineering teams to build, test and deploy solutions smoothly across environments distributed worldwide.

ROLE:

Within this team, you design, develop and drive the adoption of the CI/CD Factory as part of our evolution toward an AI-oriented model, integrating spec-driven and test-driven development practices supported by leading code LLMs (Claude Code).

WHAT YOU WILL DO HERE:

You will be part of the IT DevOps team responsible for the software engineering of Ivalua's CI/CD Factory, with the following responsibilities:

  • You will design and develop the platforms and automation tools that support our engineering organization on a global scale.
  • You will take part in the design of the target architecture, containerized on Kubernetes, CI/CD with GitHub Actions, Secret Management with Vault, all within a Linux environment.
  • As the platform is critical for production, you will contribute to its reliability, scalability, security and continuous improvement.
  • You will ensure the operation and maintenance of current environments (SVN, Microsoft, C#/.NET/SQL Server) while building the new target architecture.
  • You will rely on artificial intelligence to improve code practices within the DevOps department (Agentic coding).
  • Your main contacts will be the delivery teams working with customers (Operations, Build & Run, Professional Services), the infrastructure teams managing Cloud environments, Kubernetes (self-hosted), Linux and Windows, and the central R&D teams developing Ivalua's flagship e-procurement platform.

YOUR PROFILE:

  • You have at least 5 years of experience in software engineering, infrastructure and DevOps, gained in SaaS environments with enterprise web applications with high traffic for large key account customers.
  • You have expertise in containerization technologies (Kubernetes) and large-scale deployment practices (high availability, scalability, distributed systems).
  • Expertise in CI/CD (GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, Octopus, Jenkins, GitLab CI or equivalent) and automation practices.
  • You have a background in software development (C#/.NET) and strong skills in database management (SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and a thorough understanding of software architecture.
  • Good practical knowledge of Linux and Windows administration (Python / PowerShell scripting). Experience operating and supporting critical production systems, with a strong focus on reliability and troubleshooting.
  • Fluent English is mandatory (written and spoken) to collaborate with international teams.
  • Big plus: active interest in Open Source (GitHub contributions), and experience in AI-assisted software development, using LLMs for code and new development practices.
