Senior Controller (all genders)
As a Senior Controller (all genders), you have the opportunity to actively shape the expansion of our logistics site in Mönchengladbach. You use your professional experience in plant controlling or process controlling to expand the site's controlling together with the on-site operational management and the Operations Controlling team in Berlin. You are professionally responsible for the Controlling and Purchase team and support the site management with business analyses.

WHY THE ROLE IS EXCITING FOR YOU
- You play a key role in the strategic direction and development of your Controlling & Purchase team and are professionally responsible for leading the team members.
- You plan the necessary resources together with your team and steer and optimise work processes. Together with your team and colleagues in Berlin and at the other sites, you develop suitable controlling instruments (e.g. historical analyses, real-time reports, quantitatively supported forecasts) and further develop existing controlling processes and reporting tools at our site.
- You report to the site manager, supporting the site management and the Operations area in operational and strategic decisions based on your analyses and evaluations of business, logistical and operational key figures as well as business cases.
- You are responsible for preparing monthly, quarterly and annual closings, investment controlling, budget control of all operational areas (Capex/Opex), and the preparation of presentations, ad-hoc reports, variance analyses and decision papers in German or English.
WE WOULD LOVE TO GET TO KNOW YOU IF
Controlling is your passion and you have several years of professional experience (e.g. 5 years) in controlling. When it comes to analyses, no one outdoes you and you have a very good understanding of numbers.
- Completed degree in business administration, business mathematics or business informatics, ideally in finance & controlling.
- You work in cross-functional matrix teams on implementing new processes and ensure that all requirements of the central controlling teams are met.
- You have a structured way of working and show initiative.
- Initial leadership experience is desirable, as well as teamwork skills, sense of responsibility and flexibility.
- Excellent knowledge of Excel as well as experience with databases (e.g. with SAP) and skills in creating audience-appropriate presentations with PowerPoint (storytelling with key messages).
- Excellent communication skills in German and English, both written and spoken.
