THE OPPORTUNITY
CONTEXT: You will be part of the InfoSec team with the mission to build, maintain, and continuously improve the security of our application, thereby providing assurance of protection and security to our customers. Our team is operational, with a strong problem-solving mindset, capable of thinking holistically about implementation and providing solutions to address our customers' long-term challenges.
ROLE: As a Senior AppSec Manager, you will dedicate a major part of your role to steering, strategy, and management of the application security program, while remaining the technical pillar and support for the operational team. Your mission will be to rethink, structure, and lead our AppSec program on a global scale.
We are looking for a strategic and technical Senior AppSec Manager to orchestrate the security of our SaaS application as well as Ivalua's internet-facing ecosystem. This hybrid role requires strong collaboration with R&D (Solution Owners, Framework Architects, Dev Leads) in order to integrate security from the genesis of every new product.
You will be responsible for prioritizing tasks in the face of bandwidth challenges, managing complex customer escalations, and automating detection processes by leveraging cutting-edge technologies.
WHAT YOU WILL DO WITH US
- Define the strategic roadmap, design application security frameworks, and ensure their seamless integration into R&D processes for all new product development
- Support the operational team on a daily basis, arbitrate and prioritize critical tasks, and ensure the maintenance of deep technical expertise on complex topics
- Work hand-in-hand with R&D Leaders, Solution Owners, and Dev Leads to conduct security architecture reviews and streamline the software development lifecycle
- Drive the automation of security testing within CI/CD pipelines by integrating intelligent agents and optimizing the use of AI for detection and remediation
- Coordinate and manage external and internal penetration testing campaigns, analyze results, and oversee remediation plans
- Be the primary point of contact during critical customer escalations on complex topics; know how to analyze requests, quickly identify key points, and explain technical security concepts to stakeholders
YOUR PROFILE
If you have solid experience in application security, natural leadership, and a strategic vision of DevSecOps, this role is for you.
Skills and Experience:
- At least 10 years of proven experience in Application Security
- At least 5 years of experience as a direct manager, with proven experience in team leadership
- Solid technical background in application security with excellent knowledge of vulnerabilities and experience collaborating directly with developer teams
- Mastery of the Microsoft stack and a perfect understanding of CI/CD environments
- Experience in automating security tools and a strong interest/ease with AI technologies to optimize defense processes
- One or more recognized certifications in offensive security are highly appreciated
Desired Qualities:
- Ability to position yourself in support of an operational team, to delegate, to prioritize effectively, and to maintain methodological rigor despite time constraints
- Proven ability to communicate with a wide range of stakeholders
- Ability to explain highly complex concepts, immediately spot architectural friction points, and propose sustainable, holistic solutions
