How you keep our systems secure
At AFAS ICT, we ensure that everything IT-related works smoothly. We arrange the right software and hardware so that colleagues and customers can do their work properly. As a security engineer, you work on securing our infrastructure, systems, and software. You make risks visible and translate them into concrete actions. You do this together with colleagues, security partners, and product development.
You also take a critical look at how things are set up. Is this still correct? Can this be better? Sometimes you dive deep into the technology. Sometimes you raise awareness of risks or answer a difficult question. You work on, among other things:
- Improving and implementing security measures
- Analyzing and monitoring incidents
- Identifying and resolving vulnerabilities
- Translating threats into concrete actions
- Testing systems with a hacker mindset
You think not only in solutions, but also in risks. You dare to bring these up for discussion. And if needed? You're there. Even outside working hours. Not because you have to, but because you understand what's at stake.
