Overview
Within the Chief Risk Officer department, you could collaborate with one of the teams dealing with market risk, counterparty risk, financial instrument valuation, lending operations, and the definition of credit risk appetite.
What your activities will be
During your internship, you will have the opportunity to work alongside and support the department team in the following activities:
- Analysis of financial market risk factors and regulatory developments.
- Verification of the adequacy of valuation methodologies for financial instruments traded by business units (derivatives, bonds, loans, securitizations), development and use of the Risk Management system's pricing libraries.
- Implementation of market and counterparty risk analyses for Group portfolios, for both management and regulatory purposes.
- Development of credit risk assessment models for management purposes, specific to the Corporate & Investment Banking Division portfolio.
- Support in defining and monitoring the bank's appetite for various risks (valuation, market, counterparty, credit) with the goal of optimizing the risk-return profile of portfolios.
Who we are looking for
If you have the following characteristics, we are waiting for you:
- Currently pursuing a Master's degree in economic/scientific disciplines - STEM (Economics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Mathematical Engineering);
- Basic knowledge of the main financial instruments and statistical, pricing, and risk methodologies;
- Knowledge of the Office suite and at least one language among Matlab, SQL, Python, SAS.
