Overview
Within the Chief Risk Officer function, you could work with one of the teams dealing with market risk, counterparty risk, valuation of financial instruments, lending operations and the definition of credit risk appetite.
What your activities will be
During the internship, you will have the opportunity to work alongside and support the team of the unit in the following activities:
- Analysis of risk factors of financial markets and regulatory developments.
- Verification of the adequacy of valuation methodologies for financial instruments traded by business units (derivatives, bonds, loans, securitizations), and development and use of the pricing libraries of the Risk Management system.
- Implementation of market and counterparty risk analyses of the Group's portfolios, for both management and regulatory purposes.
- Development of credit risk assessment models for management purposes, specific to the portfolio of the Corporate & Investment Banking Division.
- Support in defining and monitoring the bank's risk appetite for the various risks (valuation, market, counterparty, credit) with the aim of optimizing the risk-return profile of the portfolios.
Who we are looking for
If you have the following characteristics, we are waiting for you:
- Master's degree in progress in economic/scientific STEM disciplines (Economics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Mathematical Engineering);
- Basic knowledge of the main financial instruments and statistical, pricing and risk methodologies;
- Knowledge of the Office suite and at least one language among Matlab, SQL, Python, SAS.
Applications from candidates who have gained study experience in international contexts will be given preference.
