Overview

Within the Chief Risk Officer's office, you could collaborate with one of the teams that handles market risks, counterparty risks, financial instrument valuation, lending operations, and credit risk appetite definition.

What will your activities be

During your internship, you will have the opportunity to support and work alongside the team in the following activities:

  • Analysis of risk factors in financial markets and regulatory developments.
  • Verification of the adequacy of valuation methodologies for financial instruments traded by business units (derivatives, bonds, loans, securitizations), development and use of pricing libraries in the Risk Management system.
  • Implementation of market risk and counterparty risk analyses for the Group's portfolios, for both management and regulatory purposes.
  • Development of credit risk valuation models for management purposes, specific to the Corporate & Investment Banking Division's portfolio.
  • Support in defining and monitoring the bank's appetite for various risks (valuation, market, counterparty, credit) with the aim of optimizing the risk-return profile of portfolios.

Who we are looking for

If you have the following characteristics, we are waiting for you:

  • Master's degree in progress in economic/scientific disciplines - STEM (Economics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Mathematical Engineering);
  • Basic knowledge of the main financial instruments and statistical, pricing, and risk methodologies;
  • Knowledge of the Office suite and at least one programming language among Matlab, SQL, Python, SAS.
