For the Integrated Process Team (IPT) Specialties in Haarlem we are looking for a Reliability Engineer.

From Haarlem we distribute 2,500 different packagings of medicines and vaccines to more than 140 countries. Haarlem is known as the flexible packaging location in Europe. Our production department consists of several Integrated Process Teams (IPTs) and Centers of Excellence. The IPT Specialties is responsible for packaging tablets and filled bottles into various final packagings and for what happens on automated packaging lines.
The "technical" team of IPT Specialties consists of several Technicians, an Automation Engineer and a Reliability Engineer who ensure that the 12 packaging lines in the department keep running with the associated quality and safety requirements.
About the role
As a Reliability Engineer you are responsible for the reliability of all installations and equipment under the management of IPT Specialties. You work on structurally solving problems and improving technical performance. You write business cases for improvement projects, draw up deliverables and guide the development and implementation of the proposed improvements on the shopfloor. You are also responsible for continuously initiating improvements to the maintenance plan.
Tasks and responsibilities
Your responsibilities include, among others:
- You analyse the technical performance of IPT Specialties and, through technical projects, ensure that the packaging lines keep improving and continue to meet current quality and safety requirements.
- You build convincing business cases to obtain the resources needed to realise (improvement) projects and do not shy away from discussion in doing so.
- You are familiar with standards, procedures and guidelines as applicable within our organisation and the pharmaceutical industry. You are jointly responsible for qualifying and keeping the entire machine park of IPT Specialties in a qualified state and ensure that periodic reviews are prepared for this.
- You are responsible for drafting and reviewing qualification documents for changes and projects.
- You are responsible for drafting and reviewing the maintenance documentation of IPT Specialties.
Your profile
- HBO diploma in engineering (WTB, Electrical or Mechatronics);
- Experience in a production environment and ideally with packaging processes within a GMP environment is a big plus, but not a requirement;
- Experience with project portfolio management, project management, change control and equipment qualification is a plus;
- Persuasive, stress-resistant and able to influence stakeholders;
- Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English, both spoken and written;
- Strong project management skills, analytical insight and great perseverance.
