Job Description
What we're looking for in you:
- Proven experience in testing and quality assurance of IT solutions.
- Solid knowledge of test automation and modern frameworks.
- Familiarity with CI/CD practices, continuous quality, and DevOps.
- Mastery of testing strategies and software development lifecycles.
- Analytical capability to define and track quality metrics.
- Experience with bug management, failure analysis, and continuous improvement.
Your main responsibilities will be:
Development and Implementation of Quality Models
- Develop and implement quality control models, policies, and tools.
- Contribute to the dissemination of best practices and continuous improvement techniques.
Test Planning and Execution
- Define testing strategies aligned with business and architecture.
- Develop test plans and scenarios.
- Execute functional, performance, regression, and other types of tests.
Automated Testing and Frameworks
- Use and maintain automation tools, including:
- Rest Assured, Cucumber, Cypress, JMeter, and Bruno for end-to-end (E2E) testing in web applications.
- Postman and Newman for API testing.
CI/CD Practices
- Work with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Configure and maintain automated testing stages in tools such as:
- GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Jenkins.
Quality Control and Testing Strategies
- Apply different types of tests: unit, integration, system, and user acceptance.
- Work with strategies such as:
- Test Driven Development (TDD)
- Behavior Driven Development (BDD)
- Manage defects using tracking tools, such as JIRA.
Security, Performance, and Scalability.
- Execute performance and load tests, using:
- JMeter, LoadRunner, or cloud-specific tools.
- Evaluate scalability, resilience, and application performance.
Quality Metrics and Indicators (Desirable)
- Define, track, and analyze metrics such as:
- Total Defects Detected (TDD)
- Total Defects Found by Customer (TDC)
- Total Defects Removed (TDR)
- Defect Detection Effectiveness (DDE)
- Formula: DDE = TDD / (TDD + TDC) x 100
- Mean Time To Repair (MTTR)
- Support continuous improvement initiatives through the Quality Maturity Model (QMM).
