Job Description

Ensure the quality of systems and technological processes, with emphasis on data integration, batch process validation, and operation in hybrid environments, applying agile methodologies focused on QA. Early detection of defects and continuous improvement of processes.

Key responsibilities:

  • Preparation and setup of dedicated environments.
  • Design, document, and execute test cases based on functional and technical requirements.
  • Validate data integration processes in PowerCenter 10.5.4, especially those involving XML file reading.
  • Verify correct execution and traceability of batch processes managed in Control-M.
  • Ensure data transfer integrity through Secure Transport.
  • Perform validations on Oracle and SQL Server databases, including query execution and stored procedures.
  • Execute service tests using tools such as Postman and SoapUI.
  • Apply agile methodologies in the testing cycle, ensuring continuous quality.
  • Manage defects and test cases using JIRA and Zephyr.
  • Generate evidence and test reports (Confluence and Zephyr).
  • Client presentation at the end of the QA lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with development, architecture, and DevSecOps teams in early defect detection.

Qualifications

What are we looking for?

Education: Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related degree.

Experience:

  • Management of Oracle and SQL Server databases.
  • Experience in process automation, preferably with Katalon.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in software quality assurance.
  • Knowledge of PowerCenter.
  • Knowledge of different operating systems (Linux, Unix, Windows, etc.).
  • Knowledge of agile methodologies applied to QA.

Desirable

  • Experience in validating processes in Control-M.
  • Knowledge of Secure Transport.
  • Experience in test and defect management with JIRA and Zephyr.

Required technical knowledge:

• Experience in AWS environments (microservices-based architecture, tools, and logs).

• Scripting skills (Python, Shell, or others).

• Experience in DevSecOps practices and/or continuous integration (CI/CD).

Desirable

• ISTQB or other QA certifications.

• Certifications in agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe, or others).

• Certifications related to the technologies mentioned.
