Eureka operates "Pairs," a dating and matchmaking app for people who are serious about finding a partner. Pairs is one of Japan's largest online dating apps, with over 27 million cumulative registrations in Japan. Since launching the Japanese version in 2012 and the Taiwan version in 2013, it has continued to grow steadily, with over 900,000 people finding a partner through Pairs. In 2015, we joined Match Group, which operates online dating apps worldwide. Job Summary: We are looking for a "Product Data Analyst" to support the growth of our online dating app, "Pairs."

At Eureka, we have a culture of prioritizing data when making business decisions in various decision-making scenarios. The "Product Data Analyst" position we are recruiting for will be part of the BI (Business Intelligence) Team. You will be tasked with the major mission of expanding the use of data for business decision-making and improving the speed and quality of analysis. Specifically, this position will involve working closely with product managers to handle the entire PDCA cycle, from building data infrastructure and data analysis to growth initiatives. What You’ll Do:

  • Lead the strategy formulation, launch, and growth of Pairs' globalization while collaborating with various organizations.
  • Lead the promotion of the PDCA cycle for various initiatives based on data analysis.
  • Design, build, and operate data warehouses and data marts using dbt & Dagster.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience in data analysis using SQL, and building/operating data marts or data warehouses (3+ years of practical experience).
  • Experience in implementing dashboards with BI tools such as redash / Tableau (3+ years of practical experience).
  • Experience in analysis and development using Coding Agents.
  • Experience in proposing actions based on data analysis and improving services.
  • A willingness to learn and keep up with the latest technologies, including Generative AI.
  • Experience in building consensus and driving projects while involving multiple internal departments and stakeholders.
  • Fluent Japanese communication skills.
  • Business-level or higher English proficiency (Reference: CEFR B2 or higher).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in launching and driving the growth of new businesses.
  • Experience working with directors and executive members.
  • Skills to formulate and quantify complex and highly abstract analytical problems to solve them.
  • Experience in operating data pipeline tools such as dbt / Airflow.
  • Specialized knowledge in data science / statistics.
  • Knowledge and experience in A/B testing and causal inference.
