Job description

You will join the Capital Market Support Trading and Sales Support department within the MO Support Trading Equity team, made up of 10 people.

The main responsibilities of a Middle Officer Support Trading Equity fall within the support provided for Strategic Equity Trading, Equity Investment Solutions and Global Repo and Indexing activities.

This covers the following activities:

  •         Corporate Investment Solutions

  •         Convertible Bonds

  •         Equity Investment Solutions

  •         Equity Finance and Delta One

The missions are:

  1. Controlling the modelling of transactions initiated by the Front Office in the FO application SOPHIS
  2. Controlling and validating deals before their issue, by linking the order book, the term sheet and the Sophis booking
  3. Controlling and matching fees with the provisions booked to enable payments to be initiated via the PAW platform
  4. Monitoring and managing the market data reference base (Equities, indices, proprietary indices, Tiers, calendars) with internal or external providers
  5. Monitoring and controlling the reference base of listed derivative products (options and futures)
  6. Tracking, calculating and validating events affecting the life of a structured product (coupons, corporate actions, early partial termination, early exercise, maturity, nominal changes…)
  7. Staffing the desk before market opening and after market close, to ensure an accurate reflection of market information in our systems
  8. Modelling and booking OSTs in the Front Office system
  9. Liaising between the FO / Operations (MO / BO / Transverse) / IT Support
