Job Description
You will join the Capital Market Support Trading and Sales Support department within the MO Support Trading Equity team, which comprises 10 people.
The main responsibilities of a Middle Officer Support Trading Equity fall within the scope of support provided for Strategic Equity Trading, Equity Investment Solutions, and Global Repo and Indexing activities.
This covers the following activities:
- Corporate Investment solutions
- Convertibles Bonds
- Equity Investment Solutions
- Equity Finance and Delta One
The responsibilities are:
- Control of transaction modeling initiated by the Front Office in the FO SOPHIS application
- Control and validation of deals before their issuance, by linking the order book, term sheet, and Sophis booking
- Control and matching of fees with provisions booked to enable payment initiation via the PAW platform
- Monitoring and management of the market data repository (Equities, indices, proprietary indices, Counterparties, calendars) with internal or external providers
- Monitoring and control of the listed Derivatives product repository (Options and futures)
- Tracking, calculation, and validation of events impacting the life of a structured product (coupons, Corporate Actions, early partial closure, early exercise, maturity, nominal variations…)
- On-call duties before market opening and after market closing, to ensure accurate reflection of market information in our systems
- Modeling and booking of Corporate Actions in the Front Office system
- Liaison between FO / Operations (MO / BO / Cross-functional) / IT Support
Qualifications
- You have good knowledge of the finance sector
- You have remarkable analytical and writing skills.
- You can communicate equally well with developers and business teams.
- Your English is fluent.
