New Business Account Manager
Strategic SaaS sales in healthcare
Do you want to build growth in a market that matters?
At Ecare, you help healthcare organizations move forward with PUUR. – our EHR that simplifies processes, creates oversight, and supports healthcare professionals in their daily work.
To meet our growth objectives, we are looking for a New Business Account Manager who takes charge of complex sales processes and knows how to convince organizations at the executive level.
What you will do
As a New Business Account Manager, you focus primarily on developing prospects into long-term partners within the VVT (and potentially GGZ) sectors – organizations with 500+ clients.
Approximately 75% of your time is spent on new business. The rest is spent on business plans, events, and market development.
You:
-
Follow up on leads from Marketing and ensure we make the shortlist in every customer journey
-
Create and develop new opportunities within VVT and GGZ
-
Conduct conversations at the director, CIO, and board level
-
Position PUUR. and our partner solutions (such as Attendi, Educared, and Ysis)
-
Independently draft contracts
-
Conduct negotiations within agreed frameworks
-
Manage your own sales plan and pipeline
An average process takes 6–12 months and involves 4–8 stakeholders. Governance, IT landscape, and change impact play a major role. You maintain an overview, monitor progress, and ensure that processes move toward decision-making.
After go-live, the management lies with the strategic customer team. You remain involved in upsell, cross-sell, and contract renewal.
This is explicitly not an account management role. The focus is on growth.
Where you will work
You will become part of the commercial movement within Customer Engagement. An environment where marketing, new business, onboarding, and partner success work closely together.
PUUR. is developed entirely in-house. This means short lines of communication with Product and direct influence on positioning, proposition, and market approach. Signals from your conversations with executives and CIOs do not fall into a black hole, but are concretely translated into choices in the roadmap and strategy.
Therefore, you are not only working on growth, but also on the further development of our solution and market position.
What you bring
-
Demonstrable experience in new business within complex B2B environments
-
Experience with long sales cycles and multiple stakeholders
-
Ability to conduct conversations at the director and CIO level
-
Experience with independently drafting and executing sales plans
-
Consistency, accuracy, and perseverance
-
The courage to take charge
Experience in healthcare is a plus. Substantive healthcare knowledge can grow; commercial seniority must already be present.
