To drive this transformation, we are looking for someone to lead our new vertical, the person who will direct the external fleet ecosystem in Spain as if it were their own business within Cabify. You will manage a P&L that we aim to exceed €500M in annual revenue over the next two years. Given the strategic nature of this position, you will interact regularly with the company's CEO and report directly to the head of European operations, acting as their right-hand person in this unit. You will have real decision-making autonomy regarding strategy, structure, and results.
Our ambition is not only to contribute to the development and optimization of partner fleets but to build the benchmark operational and technological ecosystem for mobility operators in Spain.
How will you help us fulfill our mission?
- Team Transformation: Build, mentor, and scale a hybrid team (commercial and operations), evolving their role from "transactional managers" to true business allies for our partners.
- Build a network of strategic partners: Identify, negotiate, and consolidate long-term relationships with high-potential fleet operators throughout the territory, raising the industry standard.
- Transform the relationship model: Convert fleet operators from transactional suppliers into strategic partners of the marketplace, with incentives and agreements designed for the long term.
- Drive business modernization: Rely on your operations and commercial leads to identify improvement opportunities, and lead the adoption of technology and automation that make Cabify the most agile partner in the market.
What we are looking for:
- Experience running a business, not just operating it: +7 years leading a business unit, country, franchise, or your own P&L, with real responsibility for results, not just execution.
- Ability to build from scratch: track record of setting up structure, team, and processes in the early stages of a business or unit.
- Ability to build complex networks: experience generating and sustaining high-level strategic relationships with multiple partners or external stakeholders.
- Financial business vision: ability to read a P&L and translate it into concrete decisions and profitability levers.
- Leadership of senior profiles: experience directing and empowering specialists or functional leaders, delegating execution, and focusing on strategic direction.
- High-level stakeholder management: excellence in negotiation and influence, both internally and externally.
- Growth ambition: a mindset oriented toward scaling the business aggressively but sustainably, relying on technology, automation, and AI as levers to grow without losing efficiency.
- Previous experience in mobility, transport, or logistics is valued; training or a background in top-tier companies or consultancies is a plus that reinforces the criterion of rigor, not an exclusive filter.
