Job Description
We are looking for executive leadership to lead the Software Engineering and SRE areas, with a strategic role in technological evolution, operational excellence, and the delivery of digital solutions that sustain and drive the business.
This position will work closely with executive leadership and the global team, leading senior teams, developing new leaders, and strengthening a modern engineering culture, with a focus on products, innovation, and high availability.
Your challenge: To be responsible for leading, structuring, and evolving software engineering and SRE, ensuring that the solutions delivered meet the highest standards of quality, performance, and scalability, always aligned with the company's strategic priorities.
Key responsibilities

Lead the Software Engineering and SRE areas, ensuring integration, operational efficiency, and continuous evolution of the technological architecture

Plan, prioritize, and monitor the IT and SRE roadmap, connecting initiatives to business strategies

Act as a strategic partner to product, data, and business areas, ensuring deliverables aligned with company needs

Manage multiple product squads, promoting agile practices, DevOps culture, and focus on value delivery

Drive technological modernization initiatives, including migration from legacy environments to cloud

Develop and mentor technical leaders (coordinators and specialists), strengthening soft skills and strategic vision

Manage capacity, productivity, budget (Capex/Opex), and business cases for the area

Create and monitor executive KPIs, ensuring visibility, data-driven decision-making, and continuous improvement

Conduct executive reports and actively manage risks, priorities, and dependencies

Represent the area in executive forums and interactions with global teams

Qualifications

Solid experience in software engineering leadership and SRE culture

Experience managing complex projects treated as products, not just software factories

Experience with architecture modernization, legacy/mainframe to cloud migration

Strong knowledge of cloud environments (AWS – desirable experience with Azure or GCP as well)

Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases

Practical knowledge in at least one programming language (Python, Java, Scala, JavaScript, or similar)

Experience in UNIX-based environments

Experience in financial management (Budget, Capex, Opex, Business Case)

Work with agile methodologies and critical project management

Advanced English for interaction with global teams and stakeholders
