🌍 Who are we?

We are Getaround, one of the leading car-sharing platforms in the world. Millions of users share thousands of cars across more than 1,500 cities in 11 countries.

Our mission is simple: make our cities more pleasant to live in through car sharing.

Each car shared on Getaround replaces between 5 and 8 personal cars. Fewer cars means more space, less pollution, and flexible access to mobility.

Thanks to our connected car technology, our users can book and unlock a vehicle directly from our app, without an access card, keys, or a queue.

To achieve our vision of a world where all cars are shared, we are building a strong and committed team. We are looking for people who are curious, positive, and autonomous, who enjoy learning and collaborating to create impact.

Your mission

Ensure the safety of our users by preventing and detecting fraud and suspicious behavior on our platform. You will in particular be asked to identify fake profiles, phishing attempts, identity theft, suspicious activities, or fraud attempts targeting our users or our platform. Your role will be to help protect our community, prevent abuse, and guarantee a reliable and secure experience for everyone.

Your responsibilities

  • Handle user requests by email, mainly concerning account restrictions and issues related to trust and safety (Trust & Safety).

  • Analyze and process alerts and operational tasks, in particular account restrictions and rental cancellations when necessary.

  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure rapid, rigorous, and appropriate resolution of cases.

  • Process legal requests from law enforcement and other authorized authorities, in compliance with the company's internal procedures.

  • Contribute to the detection and analysis of suspicious or fraudulent behavior, while participating in the continuous improvement of our safety processes.

Your work environment

You will join the Safety team, under the responsibility of Badre, our Head of Safety.

The team already consists of 4 Senior Fraud Associates, with whom you will work daily to ensure the safety of our platform and our users.

You will work across several international markets, including Belgium, Germany, and Norway, which requires a good ability to adapt to diverse environments and issues.

The profile we are looking for

  • You have 1 to 2 years of experience in operations, customer relations, or fraud detection, ideally in the mobility sector.

  • You are rigorous, detail-oriented, and capable of identifying and analyzing suspicious or fraudulent behavior.

  • You show analytical skills, curiosity, and initiative, and are proactive in suggesting improvements to our services and processes.

  • You have a good level of English, both spoken and written, which is essential for collaborating with teams and handling cases related to our different markets.

  • You enjoy teamwork and know how to exercise good judgment when handling sensitive situations.

Start date

The position is to be filled in early January 2027.
