Job Description
- Consolidate the company's numbers across different sources (commercial, operations, financial) and ensure that TPV, ARV, MCC, MMC, and accounting results align with each other, with no divergent versions circulating
- Be the single point of reference for "what is the correct number" when different areas arrive with different readings of the same indicator
- Assume end-to-end monthly closing, including calculation of MDR, Gross TR, and Net TR, without need for direct supervision
- Calculate and validate complex provisions: chargebacks, defaults, receivables anticipation via FIDC or balance sheet
- Ensure correct accounting records of the entire financial settlement chain (D0, D1, D30, receivables schedule) and anticipate mismatch risks
- Be an internal reference on BACEN regulations applicable to IPs (payment methods circulars) and translate regulatory changes into accounting adjustments without external intervention
- Conduct internal and external audits independently, with work papers already structured and defensible
- Consolidate and cross-check FCST, BDGT, and Actual across areas, with root cause diagnosis of variations, not just description of the deviation
- Structure and maintain the single source of truth for controllership indicators, avoiding rework of each area calculating its own number
- Identify and implement process improvements on your own, reducing closing time, operational risk, and noise from divergent numbers across the team
