We produce in-depth guides, tips, trends, and advice – plus breaking news and analysis from our team and industry practitioners. We serve 3 million monthly pageviews, 1.7M visitors and half a million social followers.

We are looking for a full-time, in-house Digital Marketing Specialist to help create and deliver marketing campaigns that support our readers and grow our market share. Skills and Qualifications

  • Portfolio of successful marketing campaigns with a demonstrated ability to make an emotional connection and inspire readers to take action

  • Experience with search marketing, advertising, social media, and demand generation is a must

  • Understands processes and the complete campaign cycle, including the role of tracking and analytics, from awareness thru pipeline

  • Knows how to uncover campaign trends and insights thru Google Analytics and campaign reporting

  • 2+ yrs experience in-house or with a digital marketing agency or publisher

  • 2+ yrs experiences running digital campaigns

  • Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills

Preferred Competencies

  • An understanding of SEJ’s audience and ideal reader profile, and what that audience is interested in reading, learning, or otherwise looking to us for help
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Communications, or 3+ equivalent business experience
  • B2B, SEO, PPC or search marketing experience
  • Experience working within a publisher or media organization

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies, such as email marketing campaigns, social media campaigns, and paid advertising campaigns
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance across various channels, including social media, email, and paid advertising
  • Collaborate with others to ensure that marketing efforts are aligned with the overall goals of the company
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest digital marketing trends and techniques, and identifying new opportunities to reach target audiences and drive engagement
  • Provide campaign reports to identify trends and insights, and use these insights to help optimize campaigns and improve performance
  • Assist with the development of marketing materials, such as website content, campaign assets, and sales presentations
  • Work with our Content Marketing Manager to help determine what content will reach readers
  • Work with our Email Marketing Manager to implement reader journey and automated campaigns

Status: Full-Time | Salary: $50,000 - $60,000 | Location: Remote
