Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with solid experience in microservices, an analytical mind and technical creativity, capable of acting independently and proactively in all phases of the software lifecycle, from requirements analysis to the evolution of innovative solutions. The professional should demonstrate strong problem-solving ability, intolerance for inefficiencies, and excellence in written and verbal communication, as well as contribute to improvements in code and tools that support the pace of business operations and ensure the success of applications critical to the company.
Daily Responsibilities:
- You will work in a multidisciplinary team, acting as a Software Engineer in back-end applications, actively participating in discussions, proposals, and planning;
- You will act as a point of reference for technical questions and resolve critical impasses, providing specialized guidance;
- You will participate in the entire software development cycle, from conception to deployment and operation.
Key Deliverables:
- Application of SOLID principles and Design Patterns in implementation, testing, and maintenance;
- Develop scalable solutions for millions of users;
- Effective communication and careful analysis of requests from Business, Product, and other teams;
- Ensure the quality of deliverables;
- Share knowledge and support team development;
- Perform code reviews and apply appropriate test cases;
- Keep service documentation up to date;
- Constantly seek technical and performance improvements;
- Demonstrate willingness for continuous learning and constant improvement.
Qualifications
What are we looking for in you?
- Excellent communication skills;
- Ability to work in a team, as well as skills in planning, organization, and negotiation;
- Proficiency in Java 17+ programming language, using Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring Batch) and microservices architecture with REST API and GraphQL;
- Experience with unit testing (JUnit, Mockito, etc);
- Experience with relational and non-relational databases;
- Experience with containerized microservices (Docker) and orchestrated (Kubernetes);
- Knowledge of major software architecture models and patterns, such as Design Patterns, SOLID;
- Practical experience with cloud application solutions, especially AWS (EKS, EC2, S3, EMR, SQS, etc.);
- Experience in CI/CD pipelines, particularly using Jenkins.
It will be a differential:
- Experience with Spark (Python or Scala);
- Familiarity with big data solutions, including Data Lake, Data Warehouse, ETL, BI, Data Mesh, MLOps, among others;
- Experience with application instrumentation and observability (Dynatrace, Datadog, Grafana, etc);
- Knowledge of messaging and event tools, such as RabbitMQ and Kafka.
