We want to be the first port of call for car switching. With a combination of technology, media, and deep understanding of the automotive sector, we've already turned the way people buy, sell, market, and lease cars on its head.
What started as a simple new car comparison platform is now one of Europe's largest online marketplaces for car switching. Last year alone, we grew by over 50% with vehicles worth more than €5 billion being bought, leased, or auctioned through our portal.
In 2024, with the acquisition of Autovia – the platform behind AutoExpress and Evo Magazine – we doubled our reach overnight. Together, we now count among the world's largest YouTube channels with almost 10 million subscribers and 1.1 billion annual views. Beyond that, we sell 1.2 million copies of our print magazine and reach over 350 million people annually with our web content.

YOUR IMPACT @ CARWOW
You don't just want to make coffee – you want to make a real difference? Then you're in exactly the right place! As a Commercial Operations Working Student, you'll be part of a dynamic team at Carwow – the platform that's digitally disrupting the automotive industry.
You'll work closely with our dealer and manufacturer partners, help build data processes, and contribute to making our leasing and stock supply pipelines measurably better.
Plus, you'll have plenty of room for AI use cases, workflow automation (Retool, Zapier), and creative process optimization around configurators, leasing, and used cars.
YOUR TASKS AS COMMERCIAL OPERATIONS WORKING STUDENT

Shape, maintain, and continuously improve leasing and stock processes

Ensure data quality & currency (validations, plausibility checks, monitoring)
-
Stock Data Matching: reconcile, enrich, and prepare inventory vehicles for analysis
-
Create SQL queries for data extraction/validation; update dashboards around month/quarter transitions

Build automations & tools (Retool apps, Zapier flows, Google Apps Script; also JS/Python if you like)

Support & troubleshooting for Brand Account Management, Leasing Deal Sourcing, and Partner Operations

Analyses for offer optimization in configurators, leasing, and used cars

Deploy AI, e.g., for data checks, classifications, or text modules
WHAT MAKES YOU STAND OUT

You're currently studying and want to apply your theoretical knowledge in a dynamic environment

High affinity for numbers, processes, and clean documentation; ownership mentality

Solid SQL fundamentals and Excel/Google Sheets skills; bonus: Google Apps Script / JS / Python

First experience or strong interest in workflow automation tools like Retool & Zapier

You have a can-do attitude, work independently, and enjoy taking on responsibility

Strong communication skills in both German and English help you here too
