As a Caretaker (all genders) you support the building technology team in carrying out repairs and inspections on our building technical systems. With manual skill and technical understanding, you take on general caretaking tasks and, together with your colleagues, ensure that our building technology runs flawlessly at all times.

In this role, you can expect varied tasks with diverse perspectives:
- With your manual skill, you carry out small repairs on our technical systems and work equipment. You install components, make changes to workstations and perform operational checks and inspections on technical systems.
- Be the point of contact for external companies and accompany external colleagues in their work at our logistics center. Carry out general conversion work at the site and support your team with larger tasks.
- Keep yourself independently informed about processes and technologies in building technology and continuously develop your technical knowledge and manual skills. Be helpful and ask your team how you can best support them.

Our European logistics network is growing: the 130,000 square meter, state-of-the-art logistics center in Gießen is operated by Zalando and is designed for up to 1,700 employees. From this site, customers in Germany and in neighboring markets will receive their parcels from summer 2026.
Our logistics employees ensure that more than 50 million Zalando customers in more than 25 European markets reliably receive their orders every day. Zalando currently has a Europe-wide logistics network with twelve sites in seven countries. In Germany alone, around 6,000 employees from over 100 nations work at four Zalando logistics sites.
