Job description
You will join a Front Office development team specialising in equity derivatives, with the main objective of improving and maintaining the contribution engines for warrants, certificates and exotic instruments.
The role takes place in a demanding trading floor environment, in direct contact with the trading and support teams, on high-performance, low-latency systems.
The responsibilities include in particular:
- Gathering and analysing the needs of Front Office users in order to adapt the contribution tools to the requirements of the trading desks;
- Developing new features and continuously improving the contribution engines for derivatives (warrants, certificates, exotics);
- Evolutive and corrective maintenance of the platform within an agile framework, ensuring its stability and performance;
- Monitoring the production rollout of new features and supervising deployments in a critical environment;
- Close collaboration with the support and operations teams to strengthen system reliability and reduce operational risk;
This position offers complete immersion in the trading floor, at the heart of interactions between technical teams and traders, in a demanding, performance-oriented environment.
Qualifications
- Final-year student of an engineering school or university programme (Bac+5) with a specialisation in computer science, software engineering or financial markets;
- Solid command of C++ and good knowledge of Java and Python;
- Strong interest in complex systems, real-time programming and high-performance architectures;
- Curiosity about equity derivatives and how financial markets work;
- Rigour, autonomy, analytical mindset and a taste for collaborative work in a demanding technical environment;
- English B2/C1
