Job Description
We are looking for a Mid-level Lawyer to join the advisory legal team at Serasa Experian, focusing on providing legal support to institutional areas such as HR, Finance, IT, and Marketing, as well as supporting the Marketing Services, Credit Services, and Decisioning & Analytics business units.
This person will work in a dynamic environment, with constant interaction with various areas of the company, contributing to the legal analysis of strategic initiatives and risk mitigation in a pragmatic and business-aligned manner.
Key responsibilities
- Provide advisory legal support to institutional areas (HR, Finance, IT, Marketing, among others);
- Evaluate the legal feasibility of initiatives, projects, and requests originating from these areas;
- Clarify day-to-day legal questions and guide internal areas regarding legal and regulatory compliance;
- Support, when necessary, the legal analyses of the Marketing Services, Credit Services, and Decisioning & Analytics business units;
- Contribute to the preparation of clear, objective, and decision-oriented legal opinions and analyses;
- Monitor relevant regulatory and legislative changes, assessing their impacts on the company;
- Work collaboratively with other legal areas, ensuring consistency in guidance and institutional alignment.
Qualifications
Requirements and qualifications
- Law degree, with an active OAB (Brazilian Bar Association) license;
- Previous experience in advisory legal work, preferably in a corporate environment;
- Knowledge of the General Data Protection Law (LGPD) and its main foundations;
- Strong ability for legal analysis applied to practical business contexts;
- Ability to communicate clearly, in a structured manner, and directed at non-legal audiences.
Preferred qualifications
- Knowledge of the Positive Credit Registry Law and its practical application;
- Familiarity with the Central Bank's Credit Information System (SCR);
- Experience or exposure to discussions involving data protection in the context of credit, including the legal basis of “credit protection”;
- Experience with topics related to marketing, technology, data, or financial services.
- Intermediate English.
