Job Description

Consultancy and Business Development is the area responsible for integrating the needs and/or challenges of our clients with the solutions in the Experian product portfolio.

Purpose of the role:

The purpose of the BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST role is to contribute to a strategic business vision by identifying client needs and/or challenges and detecting opportunities for the sale of Experian products and/or services. Furthermore, this role leads: business diagnostic studies, validation and design of strategies, market research, and the design of consultative products. It also involves supporting the commercial team in developing account plans and tracking commercial opportunities.

Deliverables:

  • Technical and economic proposals for consultative solutions.
  • Market studies to quantify and expand Experian solutions.
  • Enabling the commercial team to sell consultative products.
  • Designing services and/or products with added value based on Experian data.
  • Identifying and proposing the development of new products.
  • Monitoring and contributing to the achievement of sales and margin targets.

Responsibilities of the role:

  • Explore, size, and map potential commercial opportunities.
  • Identify and propose the design of decision-making and analytical solution ecosystems for clients or potential clients.
  • Design and develop business consulting services.
  • Prepare business cases that increase the probability of selling platforms and/or analytical solutions and justify the client's investment.
  • Support the sale of generic solutions.
  • Structure comprehensive solutions.
  • Identify and collaborate on the development of new solutions, with a business focus.
  • Propose and develop a roadmap for new business development.
  • Participate in RFPs with a comprehensive and value-added perspective.
  • Generate solutions based on Experian data.
  • Prepare reports or studies based on Experian or public data.
  • Participate in work and follow-up meetings with commercial teams.
  • Participate in internal or external work sessions.
  • Participate in conferences, seminars, or other events where the Experian brand is positioned.

Qualifications

  • Education: Statistics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Commercial Engineering, Economics, Business Management Engineering, or related fields.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of work experience performing roles such as: senior data analyst, business developer, project coordinator, risk manager, or similar.
  • Experience in the financial, telecommunications, technology services, credit services, microfinance, or similar sectors.
