Job Description
As part of our activities, we are looking for a Business Analyst specializing in rates products, with expertise in interest rate swaps and pricing.
Responsibilities
- Gather and analyze business requirements (trading, risk, finance)
- Write functional specifications
- Participate in the modeling of interest rate derivatives (IRS, swaps, etc.)
- Contribute to pricing and valuation tools
- Act as a liaison between IT and business teams
- Participate in testing and validation phases (UAT)
Qualifications
- Experience as a Business Analyst in a financial environment
- Good knowledge of rates products (swaps, yield curves, derivatives)
- Understanding of pricing mechanisms
- Proficiency in Agile / Scrum methodologies
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with demanding business teams
Technical skills (plus)
- SQL, advanced Excel, Python (an asset)
- Knowledge of trading / risk systems
