Our Zalando Outlet Stores are an important part of our offline strategy, which we are particularly proud of as an online platform for fashion and lifestyle. Our outlet stores throughout Germany are "Zalando you can touch". In a modern shopping experience, we give unsold fashion a second chance. As Assistant Store Manager (all genders) in Hamburg, you are responsible for the optimal management of your department and, in the absence of the Store Manager, for the entire store. You are responsible for the personal and professional development of up to 20 employees. As part of the Store Management Team, you contribute significantly to the economic success of our store and its continuous improvement.

  • Together with your team of up to 20 people, you ensure optimal merchandise management of the floor space and develop measures to improve your KPIs.

  • You demonstrate your understanding of our customers every day by viewing the store from the customer's perspective and creating the ideal shopping atmosphere with your employees.

  • You are responsible for 360° personnel matters, from hiring through data-driven scheduling to training and onboarding new employees.

WE'D LIKE TO GET TO KNOW YOU IF…

  • You have several years of professional experience in retail and a completed commercial apprenticeship.

  • You have experience managing employees (development, feedback conversations, scheduling, and vacation planning).

  • You possess initiative, decision-making strength, and organizational skills.

  • You bring good analytical understanding and knowledge of relevant KPIs, including the ability to derive measures from them.
