About the role

We are looking for a Senior Analytics Engineer to strengthen our data team. This person will be responsible for transforming raw data into reliable, scalable datasets and analytical models ready for consumption, supporting the construction of consistent metrics and data products.

We are seeking someone with strong experience in analytical layers, data modeling, and medallion architecture, as well as the ability to understand business rules and translate needs into efficient analytical solutions.

We expect a profile with excellent communication, influence capability, and close collaboration with squads and stakeholders, helping to spread a data-driven culture, promote best practices, and increase adoption and trust in data within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Build and evolve analytical data models and datasets for analytical and BI consumption.
  • Define and evolve the medallion architecture, ensuring consistency, traceability, and data reusability.
  • Translate business needs into metrics, rules, and standardized datasets.
  • Ensure data quality, governance, and reliability across layers.
  • Optimize query and model performance in Databricks/Delta Lake.
  • Support adoption and correct use of datasets by consuming areas.
  • Promote best practices in modeling, development, and analytical consumption.

Requirements

  • Solid experience with SQL and Python.
  • Practical experience with Databricks (Metric Views, Notebooks, Workflows, Databricks SQL, and Delta Lake).
  • Strong experience in data modeling for analytics and semantic layer construction.
  • Knowledge of Spark/PySpark.
  • Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Experience with Git and development best practices.
  • Good communication and ability to interact with technical and business areas.
