Responsibilities
Creation and maintenance of API test automation projects with a focus on performance, resilience, and quality observability.
Execution of manual tests on APIs, services, and distributed applications.
Design, implement, and validate integration, regression, contract, and load tests for microservices-based systems.
Ensure quality best practices, documentation, standardization, and test traceability.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (business, SRE, development) in agile environments.
Actively participate in technical reviews, requirements validation, risk identification, and proposal of quality improvements.
Mandatory Requirements
Solid experience in QA working with API and backend service testing.
Solid knowledge of functional and non-functional testing.
Knowledge of design patterns and clean architecture.
Experience with testing involving relational databases (PostgreSQL, SQL Server, etc.).
Experience with testing involving non-relational databases (DynamoDB, MongoDB, Redis, etc.).
Experience with API testing tools such as Bruno and Postman.
Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
Differentials
Experience in the fraud prevention industry.
CTFL certification.
Expected Soft Skills
Ability to work collaboratively and results-oriented.
Good verbal and written communication, especially for detailing scenarios, defects, and risks.
Critical thinking and focus on problem-solving.
Ability to think strategically, visualize the big picture, and understand the impacts that an initiative can generate from different perspectives.
