About Weglot
What is Weglot?
Weglot is a Paris-based website translation SaaS founded in 2016 by Rémy and Augustin. The platform makes it effortless to translate, display, localize, and manage multilingual websites from a single central interface. Today, more than 110,000 users — from small Shopify shops to large enterprise sites — trust Weglot for their international expansion.
The company reached €10 million in ARR by 2021, having grown from a €450k seed round in 2017 (SIDE Capital) to a €45 million growth investment from Partech in 2022. Weglot integrates with all major website technologies (WordPress, Squarespace, Shopify, custom builds) and operates as an end-to-end translation-as-a-service.
Where will I work?
Weglot is headquartered in Paris at 7 Cité Paradis. The team operates a hybrid policy: employees can work from home up to 2 days per week and receive a budget for remote equipment. Monthly Navigo (Paris transport) is 100% covered, or you can opt for the annual sustainable mobility package instead.
What is the Weglot team like?
Weglot has grown to over 50 employees, led by co-founders Augustin (CEO) and Rémy (CTO). The team is intentionally multicultural with diverse backgrounds. Four core values anchor the culture: Ambition (drive to be the leading website translation solution), Curiosity (constantly observing, not afraid to make mistakes), Pragmatism (technology as a means, not an end), and Kindness (treating people with respect and appreciation). The company is committed to gender equality — its 2025 EGAPRO index stands at 82, with a documented action plan to improve further in 2026. Rituals include bi-monthly apéros, quarterly team building, weekly Thursday learning sessions led by team members, and annual off-site seminars at locations like the beach or ski resorts.
Work-Life Balance
After a six-month trial, Weglot permanently adopted the 4-day work week (Wednesdays or Fridays off as standard). Hybrid working keeps you in-office up to 3 days a week with home-working for the rest. Maternity leave is extended by 2 months beyond statutory; second-parent leave by 2 weeks; sick-child leave is 4 days per year. A 1-day-per-month menstrual leave is also available. Quarterly, every employee gets a half-day off to volunteer with a cause they care about through a dedicated platform.
