About Webflow
What is Webflow?
Webflow is a visual web-development platform that lets people design, build and launch websites and web applications with the full power of code, without having to write it. Founded in 2013 and headquartered in San Francisco, the company has grown into what it now calls "the world's leading AI-native Digital Experience Platform," serving everyone from solo entrepreneurs and freelancers to agencies and global enterprises. Webflow's stated mission is "to bring development superpowers to everyone," empowering teams to "design, launch, and optimize for the web without barriers." Today the platform supports 3.5M+ users worldwide and has raised $335M in total funding, with a growing suite of CMS, e-commerce, hosting and AI-driven web-operations products.
Where will I work?
Webflow is a genuinely remote-first company. In its own words, "we've always been remote-first, we'll never issue a return-to-office mandate," and the team spans 900+ people across 25 countries. Most roles are fully remote — you can work from home or anywhere within the role's region — and Webflow backs this with localized monthly Wi-Fi and mobile stipends plus a one-time home-office setup bonus. The company also maintains a handful of physical hubs for those who want in-person collaboration: its San Francisco headquarters, plus offices in Chicago, London and a newly opened Buenos Aires office. A small number of go-to-market roles are designated hybrid (around 3 days a week in-office), but engineering and most other functions are remote-first.
What is the Webflow team like?
Webflow describes itself as a company "built on trust, transparency, and a whole lot of creativity," where "this work takes grit, because we move fast, without ever sacrificing craft or quality." The culture is anchored by four Core Behaviors: "Build lasting customer trust," "Win together," "Reinvent ourselves," and "Deliver with speed, quality, and craft." Teams operate in autonomous, "safe-to-fail" environments, and engineers are encouraged to take part in "engineering citizenship" — co-authoring engineering blogs, improving hiring and leading internal hackathons. There's a strong, explicit emphasis on staying curious and embracing emerging AI technologies across every role.
Work-Life Balance
Webflow has been recognized as one of Built In's Best Remote Companies to Work for (2026) and a Fortune Best Workplace for Parents, for Women and in Technology. Its time-off philosophy is built around flexibility: a "flexible vacation policy... no accruals, no second-guessing," separate paid sick leave, local public holidays, company-wide refresh days, and a sabbatical after five years. Generous family support includes 12 weeks of paid leave for all parents, with birthing parents receiving at least 6 additional weeks, plus modern family-planning benefits and a Caregivers@ community.
Perks and Benefits
Webflow offers comprehensive medical, dental and vision insurance for employees and dependents, with the company covering most premiums and plans that include gender-affirming care, menopause care and broad family support. Compensation includes base salary, equity through RSUs ("ownership in what you help build") and eligibility for a company bonus or sales commission. In the U.S., there's a 401(k) with a 100% employer match (up to $6,000/year), with retirement support in international locations too. Add in localized Wi-Fi/mobile stipends, a home-office setup bonus, a free global mental-wellness platform (up to 20 therapy/coaching sessions a year), and 99% off any Webflow plan (plus a 50%-off code for friends and family).
