We Are Purposeful is a dedicated civic and social organization with African roots that empowers young feminists and changemakers around the world. Born from a deep commitment to social justice and equality, we work to support and amplify girls' activism across the globe while staying true to our mission of creating a better, more equitable world.

Our approach is straightforward and hands-on, focusing on real-world impact and tangible change. We believe in the power of grassroots organizing and the transformative potential of young women when given the resources, support, and platform to lead. Through strategic partnerships and direct action, we help girls and young women develop the skills, confidence, and networks they need to become effective advocates for change in their communities.

Our Team

Our team is made up of approximately 57 passionate professionals based in London, UK, and beyond. Every team member plays a vital role in driving initiatives that create meaningful opportunities for girls and young women worldwide. We value collaboration, accountability, and authentic engagement, and we actively listen to the voices within our organization and the communities we serve.

We believe that a driven, diverse, and dedicated team forms the backbone of our success and our ability to inspire change on a global scale. Our distributed team model allows us to work with talented individuals regardless of their location, bringing together perspectives and expertise from across the globe to strengthen our collective impact.
