About Waterwise

What is Waterwise?

Waterwise is a not-for-profit organisation and the UK's leading independent voice on water efficiency. From /about-us: "As the UK's leading independent voice on water efficiency, we work to protect this vital resource for the benefit of both people and the planet."

"Our vision: That water is used wisely every day, everywhere, by everyone. Our mission: To lead and inspire change so that water is never wasted." The organisation campaigns, runs research, develops policy, and partners with the water sector to drive behaviour change in homes, businesses and government.

Waterwise published the UK Water Efficiency Strategy to 2030 in 2022 — "this strategy charts a clear, cross-sector path to greater water efficiency – crucial for securing water for people, the economy, and the environment. Drawing on extensive consultation, it outlines ambitious targets to 2030."

Where will I work?

Waterwise's registered office is 344-354 Gray's Inn Road, London, WC1X 8BP. The organisation operates fully remote UK-wide, with travel covered for in-person meetings. The team site states "we don't currently have any open positions, but if you are interested in joining the team, please sign up to our newsletter, where we advertise all positions."
