About Wallapop
What is Wallapop?
Wallapop is a Barcelona-based marketplace for second-hand goods. Its careers page says it was "Founded in Barcelona in 2013 and present in Spain, Italy and Portugal", and that its platform "connects 19 million users who visit it every month, who collectively create more than 100 million listings annually". Its ads describe it as "a Barcelona based scale-up driven by the purpose to empower people to embrace a more conscious and human way of consumption". In January 2026 South Korea's Naver completed its acquisition of Wallapop; Catalan News reported that the company keeps its Barcelona headquarters, its CEO and its existing staff.
Where will I work?
Every live opening is in Barcelona, and the legal notice gives the registered office as Avenida Meridiana 89, 6th floor, 08026 Barcelona. The ads describe a hybrid model: "We follow a hybrid model where flexibility rules. We commit to a minimum of 6 days per month in the office. Each team self-organizes to decide on cadence and in-person/remote rituals." The careers page lists "A stunning, sustainable office with a sunny terrace" and "Free lunches, coffee, and fruit". The ads are written in English, and the Principal and Senior Product Manager ads ask for English proficiency with Spanish as a plus. The ads also say Wallapop sponsors visa processes for international candidates when applicable and offers a relocation package, and that all interviews take place remotely.
What is the Wallapop team like?
The four live openings are all in Product: a Senior Product Manager, a Principal Product Manager, a Principal Growth Product Manager and a Staff Data Scientist for experimentation. The product manager ads describe cross-functional squads of engineering, design, analytics and business operations, and a chapter that shares product management standards through coaching. The experimentation role is described as partnering closely with Product, Engineering, Data Science, Analytics and executive leadership. The ads invite candidates to contribute to "an agile product set up". The hiring process described in the ads varies slightly by role but always includes an intro call with talent acquisition, a skills-focused interview, a case study or task, a stakeholder interview, a culture interview and an offer.
Work-Life Balance
All four live ads list "Flexible working hours" together with "intensive Fridays" in their perks, and the careers page lists a flexible schedule with intensive Fridays. Neither says what hours an intensive Friday covers, and no core hours are stated. The ads give "26 holidays per year" and the careers page says "26 days of annual leave". Under the hybrid model, each team decides its own rhythm of in-person and remote work, with a minimum of 6 days per month in the office.
