What is Vena Solutions?
Vena builds planning software for finance teams. In its own words: "Vena was founded to help organizations plan with greater confidence. Today, we're the Microsoft-native leader for orchestrated planning, decisioning and close, helping finance, business analytics and IT teams connect people, data, processes and AI in one governed operating model."
Job ads put it more sharply — "Vena is the only agentic AI-powered FP&A platform purpose-built to fully amplify the Microsoft technology ecosystem", "connecting planning, reporting, and execution across Microsoft's data and analytics ecosystem". The mission is to "Amplify Intelligence Where Business Decisions Happen", and "Thousands of organizations worldwide rely on Vena".
Where will I work?
"Vena is everywhere you are! With offices in Toronto, London, and Indore, as well as team members across the United States, EMEA and beyond, we're a truly global company." How you work depends on the role: "We embrace a flexible culture that supports different ways of working, depending on the role and location. While some of our teams enjoy hybrid arrangements, others thrive in-office or remotely."
Canadian postings say so outright — "This is a flexible position and has the option of working in our Toronto office full time, hybrid throughout the week or working entirely remotely." Where a role is hybrid, the ad names the office minimum, for example "our London office a minimum of two days a week" or "our Toronto office a minimum of three days a week".
What is the Vena Solutions team like?
Vena calls its people Venanites, and the rallying line on its careers site is "One Team, One Purpose, Infinite Possibilities". Four values carry the culture: Customer Trust, One Team, Respect and Authenticity, and Execution Excellence — "Be humble, be empathetic, be you," as the third puts it, with a stated aim to "provide the space and freedom for Venanites to be themselves and to create a deep sense of belonging".
Current hiring leans heavily towards Product & Technology — core and cloud engineering, SaaS operations, product management and enterprise IT — with smaller sales and customer-experience teams. Vena also expects people to work with AI, saying it "empowers team members at every level to actively explore AI best practices, identify meaningful opportunities to apply AI in their work, and champion innovative solutions that drive impact."
Work-Life Balance
Vena frames time off as "generous leave options - perfect for vacation, wellness, personal time, parental support, volunteering, and more" — it does not publish a day count. Flexibility is the bigger lever: office, hybrid and fully remote arrangements all exist, with "modern workspaces in Toronto, Indore, and London" offered "when you need them - and the freedom to work in ways that work best for you and your team". Wellbeing support runs to "wellness sessions (virtual & in-person), Employee Assistance Program (EAP), and a free Headspace subscription".
