About Tractor Ventures
What is Tractor Ventures?
Tractor Ventures is an Australia-based revenue-based financing provider for profitable technology companies in Australia and New Zealand. Founded in 2020 by Matt Allen, Jodie Imam and Aprill Enright, the company provides non-dilutive funding from A$100,000 to A$3 million across six product lines: Growth Capital, Line of Credit, R&D Advance, Express Capital, Bridge Capital, and Inventory Capital. As of 2026, Tractor has supported 250+ technology companies in its "Village" and has distributed loans totalling over A$70 million (average loan ~A$350,000).
The model is built for founders who want to stay profitable and preserve equity: typical decisions take ~14 days from application to disbursal, with no director's guarantees, no registered security for loans up to $300k, and repayment terms of 3–36 months. Tractor Ventures Pty Ltd (ACN 626 048 084) is a corporate authorised representative (CAR 1287213) of Boutique Capital (AFSL 508011).

Work-Life Balance
Tractor Ventures switched to a 4-day week in 2022 at full pay (32 hours, Fridays off). The transition started with a one-month trial in June 2021; according to engagement director Garry Williams, "Each meeting has a significant cost, even more so if there are more than two people in the room," and the company emphasises asynchronous communication and intentional meetings to support the schedule.
