Sprockets automates manual tasks and improves employee retention with AI hiring software built to overcome today's unique challenges."
The company's mission is unusually specific (verbatim from the about page): "Our mission is to transform the traditional hiring process into an equitable one; we believe everyone deserves a fair chance. Sprockets' AI-powered platform identifies the ideal applicants without the need for resumes or interviews, eliminating potential bias."
The platform works in three steps: Identify (analyses three pre-interview questions and matches against the personality traits of top performers), Engage (instant notification to manager and applicant), and Hire (manager can contact, interview, or extend an offer directly). The platform includes JoJo, a Virtual Recruiter that handles candidate engagement 24/7 — "Whether a jobseeker applies at 11PM on a Friday night or texts to reschedule at 4AM on a Tuesday, JoJo will take care of it."

Where will I work?
Sprockets is a Charleston SC-rooted company that "transitioned completely remote" during the pandemic and operates as a fully-distributed team. Important note (May 2026): Sprockets was acquired by Humanly (Seattle) on October 14, 2025, along with Qualifi (Indianapolis) and HourWork (Boston, which Sprockets itself had acquired in 2024). The Sprockets brand site and team remain operational at sprockets.ai as of May 2026.
