About Splash Damage

Who We Are

Splash Damage Ltd is a London-area independent video game studio celebrating over two decades of doing what it loves. Born from a group of friends coding together, Splash Damage has grown into a 400-strong team based at 81 Tweedy Road, Bromley, and is now in a new era as a fully self-publishing independent — "we've entered a new era for the studio where we have total ownership of all our projects."

What We Do

Splash Damage's portfolio reads like a who's-who of AAA team-based action: contributions to Batman, Halo, Gears of War, Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory and other major franchises. Currently in active development:

  • PROJECT ASTRID — an open-world survival game built in partnership with the leading streamer-creators Sacriel and shroud.
  • A Transformers: Reactivate game in the Transformers universe.
  • Several unannounced titles.

The studio's deliberate focus on team-based experiences underpins what it ships, while its people-first culture underpins how.

Where Will I Work?

Day-to-day life happens at the Bromley studio, which the company describes as state-of-the-art facilities equipped for both focused work and relaxation. As one of Bromley's largest employers, Splash Damage has negotiated discounts with local bars, restaurants and shops — and runs a calendar of socials, parties, tabletop gaming days and "hobby groups" that bring colleagues together.

What is the Splash Damage Team Like?

Splash Damage is "embracing a 4-day workweek while developing our most ambitious games yet." The studio prides itself on an inclusive, collaborative culture where "every team member can thrive." For long-term colleagues, it offers a meaningful career arc: Performance Related Pay for all employees, regular reviews, internal progression and a custom L&D platform.
