About Spacewell
What is Spacewell?
Spacewell describes its purpose plainly: "At Spacewell, we are focused on making buildings work for people." It sells software for workplace, energy and asset management, and its careers page calls it "a successful software and technology firm with customers across the globe", part of the listed Nemetschek Group. The company's own history page says it was "Founded as MCS in Antwerp" in 1989, bought the Dutch SaaS provider Axxerion in January 2019 and the Spanish energy-data company DEXMA in December 2020, and took the Spacewell name as a result. Its stated vision is "Optimizing building performance & improving quality of life by delivering innovative software solutions." Nine adverts are live on its Breezy board on 6 November 2026.
Where will I work?
The live adverts sit in Wilrijk (Antwerp) in Belgium, Arnhem in the Netherlands, Ratingen in Germany and Barcelona in Spain. The Belgian advert describes "A hybrid work model: 2 days a week at our Wilrijk (Antwerp) office, combining collaboration with focus time at home." Three of the five Dutch adverts give a 50/50 office and home split (the project manager advert says "Hybrid working, 50/50"), the consultant advert says about one office day a week, the account executive advert gives no pattern, and the Barcelona advert lists a "Hybrid work model, office in central Barcelona". Spacewell's legal entity, Spacewell International NV, gives its address as Sneeuwbeslaan 20 bus 3, 2610 Wilrijk, Belgium. The Barcelona role covers the South European market and asks for English, Italian and Spanish.
What is the Spacewell team like?
The careers page lists five core values: Accountability & Ownership, Commitment to Excellence, Diversity & Inclusion, Teamwork, Passion, Fun, and Respect, and Customer Centricity. It also says "We do not expect our people to be perfect or extraordinary." The recruitment section promises a process that respects candidates: "At Spacewell we respect you, your time and your need for information." The live roles span sales, customer success, consulting, project management and a regional pipeline-growth position, so the board is a white-collar software and services mix rather than shift or field work.
Work-Life Balance
Two adverts list flexible hours among the benefits, in different countries and functions. The Belgian sales advert says "A full-time contract of 40 hours with flexible working hours." The Barcelona pipeline-growth advert says "Hybrid work model, office in central Barcelona and flexible working hours (incl. early-quit Friday)." Neither gives a core-hours window, so the exact flexibility is for the hiring manager to confirm. Leave differs by country: the Belgian advert says "32 days of holiday to recharge and enjoy your free time", the Dutch adverts say 28 days, and the Barcelona advert says "23 holidays + up to 5 seniority days + birthday off". Only the Belgian and Barcelona adverts mention flexible hours, and the careers page lists no benefits, so candidates in other countries should ask.
