Who we are

Sketch is a digital design toolkit made by designers, for designers. We build a macOS-native editor with powerful collaboration, prototyping, and developer handoff—so teams can create with precision and move from idea to shipped UI with confidence. As an independent company based in the Netherlands, we take our own path on privacy and pricing, and keep designers at the center of every decision.

Our platform powers creative work at thousands of organizations worldwide—from independent freelancers to Fortune 500 companies—making us one of the most trusted names in digital product design.

Our team

We're a close-knit, fully remote team of approximately 240 people who care deeply about craft and details. From day one, we've designed our workflows for distributed work—leaning into written, asynchronous communication and clear ownership. You'll collaborate across time zones (primarily EU and USA), join an annual in-person meetup, and work with people who enjoy solving problems without unnecessary layers of process.

Our remote-first approach isn't just a policy—it's woven into how we work. We value thoughtful communication over constant meetings, meaningful progress over performative presence, and trust over micromanagement. We've made a lasting mark on digital product design, and we're nowhere near finished.
