What is Sketch?
Sketch is a digital design toolkit built by designers, for designers — and it's been shaping the industry since its founding in 2008 in Eindhoven, Netherlands. The mission, as the careers page puts it: "to help everyone design incredible things". Sketch B.V. provides the macOS-native vector design app, Cloud document collaboration, prototyping, developer handoff, and AI-assisted features that thousands of product and design teams use every day.
The product line has expanded steadily from the original Mac app into a full collaboration platform — Design, Collaboration, Prototyping, Developer Handoff, and AI assistance — all positioned as a craft-focused alternative for designers who want precision and ownership over their tools.
Where will I work?
Sketch is fully remote and has been since day one — there's no office to commute to and no need to relocate. The team is distributed mainly across EU and US time zones, working asynchronously with clear written communication (Slack is central). Sketch's open positions accept candidates from the European Union and the United States. The company's legal entity is Sketch B.V., registered in Eindhoven (North Brabant, Netherlands).
