About Sioux Technologies
What is Sioux Technologies?
Sioux Technologies is a privately owned high-tech engineering company headquartered in Eindhoven, the Netherlands. Its About page describes it as "a strategic high-tech solutions partner that develops, innovates and assembles complex high-tech systems with advanced Software, Mathware, Electronics and Mechatronics" and says "Sioux was founded the 1st of May, 1996." The same page counts "1300+ highly-skilled engineers" and "a total of 11 offices in Europe and Asia", and the Asian job adverts, read on 6 November 2026, say "With over 1,400 engineers, Sioux supports or acts as the R&D partner of leading high-tech companies." The About page names clients such as ASML, Philips, Thermo Fisher Scientific, Nexperia, Zeiss, Siemens Healthineers and Bosch. Its markets page lists seven markets (Semicon, Analytical, Medical, Defence, Mobility & Infra, Telecom, Agro & Food), and the Defence page says "Sioux optimises the response speed and reliability of radar and weapon systems by processing data directly at the source via edge-level processing, thereby minimising network latency and cyber vulnerability." No share of its work is published, and none of the 22 Sioux Asia adverts mentions defence. This profile rests on the Sioux Asia job board, where four live Vietnam roles state flexible working hours, and on the Dutch head-office careers pages, which say the same.
Where will I work?
The Sioux Asia job board listed 22 live adverts on 6 November 2026, in Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan, India and Vietnam, plus one remote role. Five are in Vietnam, in Danang and Ho Chi Minh City, and four of those carry the hours line described below. Sioux's Vietnam entity is Sioux High Tech Software Ltd, whose Danang office is listed on the Contact page at the Indochina Building. The adverts state a "Hybrid working policy" and offer "Onsite opportunities: long-term or short-term at other Sioux offices and client’s destination overseas (where applicable)". At head office, the Netherlands benefits page lists "Opportunities to work part-time and/or from home", and the Working at Sioux page says "You will work alternately at the location of the client or in one of our own Development Centres." Sioux is a project-based R&D partner, so some work happens at customer sites.
What is the Sioux Technologies team like?
The Vietnam roles sit in software engineering for equipment control and semiconductor-domain software: a Senior Backend Developer writing C#/Python that controls machines and subsystems, a Software Test Lead for metrology and configuration-management software, a Senior CI/CD Engineer and a .NET Engineer/Tech Lead. Two of the Vietnam adverts (backend developer, .NET tech lead) describe "a Kanban team delivering high-quality, maintainable software" and quality work through "thorough code reviews and mentoring of other developers". The CI/CD role works "closely with development, verification, our test architect and IT-DevOps teams in Europe and Asia". The adverts list the values "Own it and make it happen, Grow and innovate together, and Surprise customers", and the Life at Sioux page says "Without our employees, we are nowhere." Applicants send a CV by email, and Sioux says it will "contact you (for the ones matching our criteria) within 2 weeks of your application date".
Work-Life Balance
Four Vietnam adverts, covering a backend developer, a test lead, a CI/CD engineer and a .NET tech lead, carry the same line under "Working hours & Leave": "Flexible working hours working Monday – Friday, no OT". Next to it they list a "Hybrid working policy" and "19 leave days per year, for every 3 work years, +1 day to annual leave". No core hours or start and finish times are stated. The head-office pages say it too: the Netherlands benefits page lists "Flexible working hours and locations." and adds "We’re always open to discuss possibilities, depending on your (personal) situation and your project", and the Life at Sioux page says "This means freedom and trust to arrange your hours in a flexible way and the option to work remotely." Fourteen of the first 17 adverts read on the Dutch vacancy portal on 6 November 2026 (Netherlands and Romania; the portal lists 74 in all) say "Flexible 32-40 hour working week, with room to work from home." or a close variant, and the Dutch adverts give 28 holidays with an option to get 12 more, for example "We have 28 holidays with an option to acquire an additional 12 holidays." (others say "buy" or "purchase")
